Due to a Microsoft service disruption affecting court email systems across the country, the U.S. District Court for the District of Maine has announced it is currently unable to reliably receive filings sent to its intake and emergency email inboxes.

Effective immediately and until further notice, individuals who need to submit emergency filings that require immediate attention outside of the Court’s standard hours (8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) are instructed to use an alternative email address: usdcmaineemergency@gmail.com.

The Court stated, “We appreciate your patience.”
