Supreme Judicial Court Chief Justice Valerie Stanfill will deliver the State of the Judiciary address to a joint session of the Second Regular Session of the 132nd Maine State Legislature on Thursday, February 12. The event is scheduled from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Maine State House in Augusta.

Chief Justice Stanfill’s remarks will focus on key achievements made by the Judicial Branch in 2025 and outline future directions. “In her remarks, CJ Stanfill will highlight the important achievements the Judicial Branch has made in 2025 and chart the course forward.”

Following her address, Chief Justice Stanfill is set to hold a press conference in the Governor’s Cabinet Room at the State House.
